C.W. Herwig Gin Bottle in Olive, from the Netherlands!!

This is a gorgeous, olive-colored, square-shaped, Dutch gin bottle! The bottle stands ten inches tall, with the four sides on the bottle narrower at the base (2 1/2 inches wide) than along the shoulder (three inches wide). The front of the bottle is embossed "C.W. Herwig" vertically (see photo). The reverse is embossed "Handel / Marke" around a diamond embossment. Inside the diamond, a crown and letter H are embossed. All this is in a square slug plate (see photo). This mid-nineteeth century bottle has an applied top & was blown into a mold using a snap case. The base of this bottle has a deep kickup. It is sparkling clean with no nicks or chips.
