This is a pretty amber jar, 20 ounce sized, standing 6 1/2 inches tall. It is unembossed, but an original paper label stated that the jar could be reused for preserving fruits and pickles.The base is embossed "P. / Lorrillard / Co.". This jar has a ground lip Cohansey lid and wire clamp. The lid is embossed "Patented January 18 1876" in the center and "Cohansey . Glass . Manuf . Co . Phila . PA . / Pat . July . 16 . 1872". There is a slight nick in the lid. This jar is sparkling clean!
